The Spirit of the Lord Gives Liberty

The Old Testament brought concemnation and death because it showed the will of God but did not give the individual the ability to keep the law of God. The Old Testament was glorious, and even Moses' face glowed after meeting with God. But that glory faded away and he covered his face with a veil. The New Testament is more glorious, because Jesus Christ paid our sin debt and enabled us to become freed from sin; the veil separating us from God was taken away.

A Roman centurion asked Jesus for healing, but when Jesus said that he would come to heal the servant who was sick, the centurion said that he could just say the word and the man would be healed. Jesus wodered at his faith, which was greater than anyone in Israel, and said that some gentiles would join the patriarchs in the kingdom of heaven.

False teachers teach and live a false gospel, and many are hypocrites. Look at both their teaching and their lives and don't follow them.
