Even the smallest parts of God's Words will be fulfilled; Jesus fulfilled many himself.

Matthew 5:10-12 and I Peter 4:12-19 Persecution for righteousness sake

Satan, the God of this world, will persecute the Christian because of his faith, but we should rejoice and not lose heart, because great rewards await us in heaven. 

Matthew 5:10-12 Blessed are those persecuted for righteousness sake

We can expect rewards in heaven when we suffer persecution for righteousness sake.

Matthew 5:7-9 5-7th beatitudes

Blessed are those of a pure heart, which only God can give. We should show mercy and will receive mercy from God. We should strive not only to live at peace but to make peace.

Matthew 5:3--5 Next 3 beatitudes

We need to mourn over our sins and he will comfort us. We need to exercise self-control (meekness), and be eager to show a right standing with God in our lives.

Matthew 5:1-3 Blessed are the poor in Spirit

Only those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit will flourish in the millenial kingdom. We need to recognize our lack of His control

Matthew 4:17-25 Jesus calls 4 fishermen as first disciples

Jesus calls Peter, Andrew, James and John to leave fishing for fish and now fish for men

Matthew 4:12-17 Jesus moves to Capernaum

Jesus relocates and launches his ministry in Capernaum. In doing so, he fulfills still another of many prophecies about his first coming to earth.
